First though,
it's NOT about the band...it's about WHY there is a Fireman's Carnival... Even though volunteer firefighters do not live and work in a firehouse like career firefighters, they carry out the same kinds of emergency response duties and non-emergency tasks. |
|
|
|
|
 Emergency firefighting duties are both challenging and physical. In emergency situations, volunteer firefighters should expect to extinguish and prevent fires as well as administer first aid. |

 Many hours of training is needed... |
 ...for the volunteers to save your life and protect theirs. |

| Below are just some of the unselfish volunteers who donate their time and energy as volunteer fire fighters AND those community volunteers dedicating their time working at the carnival to help raise funds for the betterment of the community. When you see them anywhere...just say, "Thanks for what you do." | |

Fire Police The Fire Police are volunteers who serve the community. Some of their duties include: Traffic Control at Emergency Scenes, Scene Safety, Crowd Control and Liaison, Scene Security, Police Assistance, and Logistics. Thank you Fire Police!! |
